  • Week 16

    Day 105 – Sunday 13th April

    Weight = 107.5 kgs

    Steps = 9315

    Sunday I had a busy day but it started late as I was going to Burnham in the afternoon to drop off a bike that I sold and also some forks. We then drove back to bath and then walked into town to go for a Chinese to celebrate my son passing his driving test πŸ™‚ We then walked home and chilled until 8pm when I drove him home as we can’t afford to insure him mow he has passed πŸ™

    By the end of the day I got to 9315 Steps.

    Day 106 – Monday 14th April

    Weight = 107.7 kgs

    Steps = 4930 Steps

    This morning I got up at 5 am with my alarm, got up and did my weigh-in and then got showered and changed and loaded the DJ into the car and headed to Patchway to enjoy the dry weather while it lasts πŸ™‚

    I did about an hour at Patchway before my legs gave up and I concentrated on mostly first straights working on manualling the big jump and the triple. I got the big jump manual-ed clean about 10 times in a row so I think that I have that sorted now and got the triple sorted with the pump manual as well. The Black Market manuals really well as it has a really short end which is nice πŸ™‚

    My wrist held up really well so I am thinking that I can try the StayStrong Cruiser with the 2.1″ tyres soon hopefully.

    I then headed to Stockwood pump track for about 30 minutes as it was in the way home so it was rude not too! I didn’t get much done though as my legs were cooked from Patchway but I had fun and did a bunch of laps with clean manuals on the first and second straights so not bad.

    After driving home I spent the rest of the day in bed with my legs elevated all day to get rid of the soreness.

    I did remember to take my creatine with my breakfast when I got home so hopefully that will start to work sooner rather than later! I decided that I would not do the loading phase as I didn’t need the digestive issues that people were getting and I can wait for the 3 weeks it usually takes to be fully loaded just taking 5g per day anyway as I am not competing at the moment anyway.

    By the end of the day I had done only 4930 steps but I had worked out a lot.

    Day 107 – Tuesday 15th April 2025

    Weight = Scales out of batteries πŸ™

    Steps = 1484

    As I was so tired from riding yesterday I slept in until about 7:30 so I guess that I was tired and needed the rest πŸ™‚ I then got up and did my weigh-in but the scales batteries suddenly died and I didn’t have any new ones so I didn’t bother to do anything about it!

    I also messaged my friend and said that I would swap the Dialled Pro XL 20″ for my old Chase OS20 as I want the frame to go on the wall as its really pretty and I want the wheels to go on my S&M .38 Special to see if I can make it into an OS20 to leave in the container to play on when I feel like it πŸ™‚

    I then went back to bed with my legs elevated for the rest of the day as I was hurting still from the riding yesterday! I decided to take today as a rest day as I am going to Andover to do gates tomorrow night so I want to be fresh for that!

    While in bed I did my weekly shopping and also re-joined the gym which I will start on Thursday morning first thing to get the timings of working out! I was planning to just work out Tuesdays and Fridays as my plan suggested but I think I will do upper-body weights on Wednesday and Friday Morning’s first thing too so that I can rehab my wrist and shoulder more as my training plan was made for when i was healthy so I may as well get into the habit of getting up and Rucking to the gym in the mornings. My training for the rest of the month and Probably next month too will be:

    DAYAMLunchPM
    MondayRuck to Office + BackRESTREST
    TuesdayRuck + Gym Legs + Ruck HomeRESTREST
    WednesdayRuck + Gym Arms + BackRESTGates Andover
    ThursdayRuck + Gym Legs + Ruck HomeRESTGates Bath
    FridayRuck + Gym + Ruck HomeFriday lunch ClubREST
    SaturdayRoad RideRESTWalk
    SundayTrackRESTWalk

    I want to work on being consistent at the gym and also making gates at Andover and Bath every week. At the moment Bath Gates are a bit of a struggle as I am still tired from Andover but I am hoping that soon the creatine will help me recover enough to be able to do a proper session at Bath to. Its not ideal that the gates sessions are on consecutive days but what can you do!

    I have also decided that I will go back to walking 10000 steps a day with Mon-Friday being a Ruck with my new 9 kg rucksack weight always being in the rucksack πŸ™‚ I will see how I feel on Mondays as I may change that to be a walk and take the weight out of the rucksack to work to the office on a Monday! With my water bottle in the bag the rucksack will be the dame weight as my 10 kg weight vest anyway πŸ™‚

    I am planning to go to the gym and then head home, shower and ride the e-bike into the office to start work at 7:30 in the morning as I am not taking my 2 hour lunch breaks anyway so I may as well start an hour later and take an hour for lunch instead!

    I also tested out my new griddle pan and it was really good although I could only fit 6 rashers of bacon on it so I may get a bigger one later on so I can do a whole packet of bacon to have spare for later in the day to snack on! I also bought a new ceramic frying pan that is the same as the griddle pan as it was so easy to clean it makes sense and I will throw away my old non-stick pans as they are pretty toxic and are all scratched up and not really non-stick any more!

    By the end of the day I was only on 1484 steps πŸ™

    Day 108 – Wednesday 16th April 2025

    Weight = Scales out of batteries πŸ™

    Steps = 9866

    So this morning I woke up early and started to organise the flat as I had shopping arriving between 9:30 and 10:30 am so I wanted to make sure that the flat looked less like a hoarder’s house for once!

    I also stripped the bedding off of my bed and washed it and also cleaned the bathroom as that was a state too!

    I also bot my shares money into my account this morning so I decided to buy another set of Avian 172.5″ cranks as they have stopped my knee pain pretty much all together so I will stick them on the StayStong with the 2.10″ tyres so that when I start riding it again I have no knee issues!

    I have decided that I am going to sell the Standard Cruiser and OS20 Frames and I will get Gary to make me an OS20 frame as well as the second Cruiser frame that he is making me.

    I am currently getting my bedding dry and then I will load the car up and head to my parents as I have hoovering and mopping to do at their house before I go to Andover this evening.

    The batteries arrived with my shopping so I have put them in the scales and also in my body fat measurement thingy and I am apparently 23.5 % body fat which is a lot better than I was expecting πŸ™‚ I was expecting around 30% to be honest!

    That means I only need to lose 12.5% body fat to get to 10% body fat πŸ™‚ From this I can calculate that my lean mass is around 82.62 kgs so 10% on top of that would be 90.88 kgs which seems to be a bit high to be honest!

    I will take the readings from this device with a pinch of salt but its as good guestimate!

    So I have just got home from Andover and I was able to ride the StayStrong with no issues with the wrist at all πŸ™‚ Gates feel so much better on the Cruiser compared to the Jump bike too. I am going to try putting the front wheel from the StayStrong onto the Curtis tomorrow to see how my wrist feels at gates tomorrow night!

    Hopefully the fat tyre will resolve my wrist issues enough to allow me to ride the BMX again!

    I also got my fastest gate time at Andover tonight at 2.543 seconds compared to my time of 2.557 seconds on the Supercross back in February so I am definitely getting faster πŸ™‚ I also didn’t get tired at all this evening so that is either down to the NMN or the Creatine or the total rest day I had yesterday πŸ™‚ Either way it is working πŸ™‚

    Day 109 – Thursday 17th April 2025

    Weight = 108.9 kgs

    Steps =

    This morning I woke up at 6 am with my alarm, got up did my weigh-in and I was up to 108.9 kgs which is disappointing! I was really hurting from last night’s gates so I decided to rest as I have gates again tonight!

    As the last time that I had eaten yesterday was about 3 pm I decided that I may as well try and get a 3 day fast in before my holiday ends so that is what I am doing now!

    I then went back to sleep until just before 11 am so I guess that I was tired!

    Today I am building up my Standard 125R 24″ that I got back from my friend (waiting on a bottom bracket to arrive that I just ordered) and taking my friends parts off of the Chase ready to put them on the Dialled that I swapped with him when I grab it tonight at gates.

    In the afternoon I broke down the Chase and washed and dried all of my parts and hung the frame on the wall as I am not going to use it for now. I then took the front wheel off of the StayStrong with the 2.10 Powerblock on it and put it on the Curtis to see how it rides at gates tonight. I also oiled the chain and checked it over then pumped up the tires. I am not sure how much riding I will be able to do as I’m am feeling the effects of not eating a bit at the moment! As I was sorting out the Curtis the new Avian 172.5 mm cranks got delivered from Crucial even though I only bought them yesterday so Crucial came through again πŸ™‚

    By 17:00 I did a bit of a weigh-in and I am down to 107.5 kgs so in about 12 hours I have lost an amazing 1.4 kgs πŸ™‚

    Tonight after gates I am going to swap the parts from the StayStong onto my Dialled MX 24 frame as my friend from Andover rides a Dialled and he says they are amazing with the big tyres on as they have a really low bb height so feel really planted at speed and jump really well so I will try it out.

    If the Curtis feels good then I will most likely keep the Dialled as my pump track bike and sell the StayStrong frame as I don’t need both. I am also likely to sell the Standard 125R Cruiser frame and forks as I need to get the Supercross frame up for sale as well. I think that I will keep the rear wheel as I can convert it to a 20 mm axle then when I get my other Curtis back I can use it on that.

  • Week 15

    Sunday 7th April

    This morning I woke up at 6 am and got showered and dressed and then my Son decided that he was really tired so wanted to sleep in so I let him and he woke up at 3pm! So day wasted! My fitbit battery was at 15% so I put it on to charge and forgot about it until 8 pm when I was getting ready to take my son home so by the end of the I only walked 656 steps total! I think that it would have been about 2000 steps if I had the fitbit on but it was still not a lot of steps!

    Monday 8th April

    This morning I woke up with my alarm at 5 am got up and got ready, put my weight vest and headphones on and went for a Ruck as planned. My stomach wasn’t feeling great this morning and I almost turned around and headed home a couple of times but I powered through it and got the full ruck done πŸ™‚

    When I got home I had to rush to the toilet but I got the ruck done and i am feeling pretty good about myself at the moment πŸ™‚ I then opened all the doors and windows in the flat and did my LΓΌften while writing this so start to get back to my morning routine again! I am now going to get showered and dressed and head into the office for the morning. I have just remembered I am on a 1/2 day too as I was on call on Friday night πŸ™‚

    On the way home from work I tweaked my back so I decided to rest instead of riding the bike.

    After lunch my son came over and we went for driving lesson then I came home and started work again. At about 6 pm I got the treadmill out and did about 4000 steps to get to 15000 steps for the day and I also did 3 x sets of 3 wrist roller with 1kg on it which is really hard to do and was basically to failure each set!

    I decided that other than the wrist roller I wouldn’t do any weights as I didn’t want to hurt my back any more than it is!

    Tomorrow after lunch I am popping over to TF Tuned to drop my forks off to get the travel dropped to 80mm from 100mm to see if that makes the Black Market feel better. I will also ask them if they have any ideas for short travel forks for the bmx build too.

    Total steps done today was 15378

    Tuesday 8th April

    So this morning I woke up and my back was really sore so I decided to rest today so that I can get up and walk tomorrow morning again. I think for now I will just focus on working out on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and get in the habit of doing that and then rest on Tuesday and Thursday until I get used to the training load and then build up from there!

    I am really glad that I bought the wrist roller though as my wrist is feeling a lot stronger this morning after just 3 sets of 3 reps last night! Hopefully after a month or so of doing it I can stop using the wrist guard and maybe use the Curtis for gates again!

    At lunch time my son came over and he drove me to TF Tuned in Westbury and I dropped off my forks and had a word with one of the technicians about forks for the bmx cruiser as well while I was there. The forks will not be worked on until the 28th April so I will have to make do with the Pikes for now πŸ™‚

    He then drove us home and I chilled until 7 pm when I drove to the track and grabbed the keys for the new container so i can get into it tomorrow night to setup for gates!

    I then filled the car up with petrol and headed home again.

    I managed a grad total of 2397 steps yesterday which is abysmal!

    Wednesday 9th April

    Weight = 108.4 kgs

    I woke up at 4:30 this morning without an alarm and then did my weigh-in and I was up to 108.4 kgs again this morning so I need to walk every day but do every other day with the weight vest on I think! My back was feeling better so at about 5:!5 I got dressed, put the weight vest on and went for my usual Ruck. The back felt fine so when I got part way back down the hill I took a detor as it was light and walked through the park and onto the 2 tunnels then headed home from there so not much of a difference but more of a walk away from traffic to finish off with.

    I then did some work and then showered and got dressed and then rode the ebike into the office and did some bits then headed home again!

    At lunch time I loaded my bike and kit into the car and drove to my parents then I worked there until 4 pm then headed over to my friends house and he drove us to Andover for gates. Had a really good gates session and I really like the Black Market Contraband and I am getting used to it for gates although it is not really good for them! My wrist held up really well to gates though and I was pain free all session πŸ™‚

    By the end of the day I had completed 13759 steps

    Thursday 10th April

    I woke up a bit later this morning as I got home just after 22:00 and couldn’t sleep for a bit. I woke up and did my weigh-in (108.1 kgs) and then showered and got dressed and headed into the office and worked in the office until just after 10:00 when I walked home. I chilled at lunch time and then at 17:00 I headed to the track to setup for gates.

    I did a few gates but I was really sore from the gates session on Wednesday so I took it a bit easy. At 20:00 I packed up then headed home.

    By the end of the day I was on 13649 steps.

    Friday 11th April

    I woke up this morning with my alarm at 5:00 and got up and did my weigh-in and I was back up to 108.2 kgs again. I was really sore after 2 days of gates so I decided that I needed a rest day to recover. I was on call again so I was basically working all day until 22:00 so it made sense to have a rest day.

    I had been thinking about getting a backpack weight to make it easier to go rucking without looking like I was wearing a bomb vest so I pulled the trigger and bought a 9kg one from Amazon which will be delivered tomorrow. This now means that I can ruck to the office in the morning and not look like a complete nutter πŸ™‚ I can also ruck any time that I am walking anywhere now πŸ™‚

    In the evening after my on call finished and I was waiting up for my son to get home from work I started thinking about my training and about how much I am still over-training most days and how I am not being consistent with my walking at all so I am going to change back to rucking to the office/ gym as soon as I get up in the morning first thing as I was way more efficient doing that that I have been getting up and walking.

    I also decided that I will pay for the gym again and do 2 leg days as week to get me back in the habit of working out regularly again and also to help me get stronger and faster. I don’t think that I need upper body weights other than the wrist rolls at the moment as the BMX works out my core and upper body enough as it is!

    My first revision to my training is as follows:

    DAYAMLunchPMComments
    MondayWalk to Office + BackRESTRESTRest Day
    TuesdayRuck + Gym + Ruck HomeSprints + TrackREST
    WednesdayRuck to Office + BackRESTGates Andover
    ThursdayRuck to Office + BackSprints + TrackGates Bath
    FridayRuck + Gym + Ruck HomeFriday lunch ClubRESTChill Social Track Day
    SaturdayRuck + Road RideRESTREST
    SundayRuck + TrackRESTREST

    In my head this seems like not enough training load but I think that in the long run it is easily obtainable so should be sustainable long term so should get me training consistently and it is also very BMX specific. Also using my walk to work as my ruck each day should make it easier for me to keep consistent compared to having to get up and ruck before work. It will also save me an hour a day that I can use for study.

    I only walked 2565 steps today πŸ™

    Saturday 12th April

    I woke up this morning at 6:30 without an alarm and I got up and did my weigh-in and I am still 108.2 kgs this morning so not lost any weight but not gained any either! I have noticed that I am looking a lot less bloated and my arms are starting to get more toned too so that’s a good sign!

    My legs were really sore so I decided that i am going to chill this morning and then when my son leaves for his driving lesson/test I will get changed and head out on a slow road bike ride along the 2 tunnels to try and spin out the pain a bit!

    Over the past month or so I have been talking to my friends at BMX about struggling to train 2 days in a row and they have all suggested trying creatine as it helps with the recovery so I have just bought some and I will use my holiday to creating load (20mg per day for the first 7 days) so that when I go back to work I will be on a maintenance dose again.

    Regarding the gym I will pay for it on pay day on Tuesday then I will get all the door entry stuff sorted on my holiday ready to start training on the next Tuesday when I am back at work again and fully loaded with creatine.

    I am going to use my holiday to ride the BMX (24″ Jump bike) as much as possible. I will also get my sprints sessions done next week too so that the distances are sorted and also the cone placements for my timing system are also marked so when I am back at work the sprint setup is as fast as possible.

    I am now chilling in bed with my legs raised to try and get rid of some of the leg soreness before my ride this afternoon.

  • Changing up goals

    So as I am not making my 15000 steps as day goal at the moment from tomorrow I will start walking 15000 steps a day Monday to Friday and then at the weekends I will just do BMX and road biking instead of walking!

    My 5 am walk will actually be a ruck with the 10 kg weight vest Monday to Friday too as I want to get my weight down as quickly as possible!

    I got a wrist roller this morning from Amazon and tomorrow lunch time after my bike ride I will do 3 sets of wrist rolls, body weight squats, Bulgarian split squat and handlebar press ups plus 10 minutes of backwards walking. I will do the same on Wednesday and Friday’s too.

    Tuesdays and Thursdays I will go to the track and do sprints then ride the track.

    This will be my goal from now on to consistently do this training for the rest of the month!

  • Day 89 – Disappointing week!

    Weight = 107.6 kgs

    Steps =

    So this week has been a really busy week and I have also been really lazy and not walked first thing at all! this has meant that my steps have been way off where they should be other than Monday when I had time to do the treadmill while I was on call!

    Sunday108.1YESNO17212
    Monday107.5YESNO12316
    Tuesday108.2YESNO8954
    Wednesday108.2NONO4736
    Thursday107.6NONO2293
    Friday107.6NONO

    So as you can see other than Monday and Tuesday when I walked into the office early my step counts have getting steadily worse and Monday was the only day that I got over 12000 steps and yesterday I was 10000 steps away from my step goal as I didn’t leave the house at all!

    I will do my best to get my steps in today as I am on call again tonight so I will walk on the treadmill again and I am at the track this afternoon so I should get some more steps in there!

    Tomorrow morning I will get up and go for a long Ruck to make up for the slack week and then I have gates in the afternoon and I will Ruck first thing on Sunday too!

    The one highlight of the week was that I am finally under 108 kgs for more than one day so hopefully when I get back to walking the weight will drop off! I am going to get my road bike sorted over the weekend too so that I can try to ride that to see if my shoulder is up to riding it yet and then if it is I am going to go for an hour or so’s ride every lunch time Mon-Friday to try and drop weight as I am not going to the track much anyway so I might as well get fitter and then start riding BMX in the evening instead! This way I will walk first thing, ride the road bike at lunch time and ride BMX in the evenings so 3 a day training πŸ™‚

    Gates and training are moving to the evenings next week so I can hit a pump track first thing at the weekends to work on my bike skills!

  • Day 80 – Really tired

    Weight = 108.1 kgs

    Steps =

    So as I didn’t get home until almost 23:00 last night I slept in until 6 am and then get straight to work! I was feeling really off this morning and a bit hung over even though I only drank 1 pint last night!!

    I did my weigh in and I am back up to 108.1 kgs which is not good at all!

    To combat my weight gain I am going to focus on being consistent with my training (Even though I missed this morning’s ruck!) and then next month I will start back on the Carnivore diet to try and get the weight down a bit! I am also thinking that I will go for a bike ride early both days at the weekend instead of a Ruck to mix things up a bit and stop my training getting boring too!

    I am also going to do a ride on Wednesday Lunch time too so that I can spin out my legs and burn some belly mid week as well as at the weekend.

  • Day 79 – Back to Rucking

    Weight = 108.0 Kgs

    Steps = 14734

    So I woke up with my alarm at 5 am and did my weigh-in and I was shocked to see that I was up 1 kg since yesterday!!!! I immediately got dressed and went for a ruck as I haven’t rucked for at least a month now and I have really forgotten the habit of waking up and walking EVERY day again to try and get back to dropping weight!

    I have been getting more and more lazy to the point that I didn’t even walk 2000 steps all weekend or even really get out of bed all weekend!

    I really enjoyed the walk ruck and I am feeling so much better for it so I am going to get back into the habit of walking again!

    So I walked 2.72 miles in 51 minutes 57 seconds and climbed 342 ft so I didn’t break any speed records but it felt so good to blow out the cobwebs and I am able to breath through my nose again which I haven’t been able to for a couple of weeks which is good! It was light for most of the walk this morning which made it much nicer too πŸ™‚ By the time I got home I was on 6655 steps so well over 1/2 way to my 12000 step goal already πŸ™‚

    When I got home I opened all the doors and windows and did my 10 minutes LΓΌften to get back in that habit as well as the house has started to get signs of black mould again which is not ideal!

    As I packed my sprints bag with my new Skilz timing system, rollers, splats, cool-down seat and post, shoes, GoPro and tripod, Sprint Block ready to do sprints this afternoon:

    The bag is now in the back of the car ready to go so no excuses today! As soon as the measuring wheel and chalk arrive I will head to the track and get started!

    I am going to get back to training properly again so I will be doing the following:

    Monday – Rest Day walking only

    Tuesday – Ruck AM, Sprints Lunch, Rollers PM

    Wednesday – Ruck AM, Split Squats and Press ups AM, Gates PM

    Thursday – Ruck AM, Sprints Lunch, Rollers PM

    Friday – Ruck AM, Split Squats and Press ups AM, Gates Lunch, Rollers PM

    Saturday – Ruck AM, Gates PM

    Sunday – Ruck AM, BMX Sometime

    This will make a start at losing weight and strengthening my body with rucking and split squats and Press-ups in the mornings and Sprints and gates later in the day.

    At lunch time I went to the track and measured out 5 m and 10 m distances and a start line and tried to get the timing to work but it would not and kept starting on its own all the time! I also had issues with the SprintBlock as I am too heavy fro it so it just slid down when I rest the pedal on it πŸ™ So I made the most of a bad job and did 12 x 5 meter sprints from a track stand with no timing which was not ideal but better than nothing! I will research the Skilz timing setup further as I guess that I had the gates too far apart or something like that!

    Thursday I will go back to using my old folding stool instead of the SprintBlock and actually do some box sprints! I think that once I drop weight the Sprint Block will be much better but for now its just annoying so I will not use it!

    I have been looking online and found that the sensors need to be no more than 4 ft apart and I had them way further apart than that so I will try the system again tomorrow lunchtime and see if its any better.

  • Day 74 – Busy, Busy, Busy

    Weight = 107.6 kgs

    Steps = 12262

    So this morning i woke up at 5 and did my weigh-in and I was up 0.5 kgs to 107.6 kgs this morning which I guess is added muscle from the ride as I am feeling way leaner this morning as you would expect after riding 30+ miles yesterday even if it was on an ebike!

    I then started a new habit of taking an nmn pill to see what all the fuss is about and then I got to work as I have a lot to do today! I am going to walk into the office at 6:30 this morning so I started early to get my morning work tasks ticked off before I go to the office!

    At about 11:30 I walked home from the office, ate and then got in a cleaning frenzy and started organising and de-cluttering the lounge as it was a nightmare as it had all the stuff from the garage that I needed to go through. After round 2 of organising I now have a sofa that I can sit on and the flat is 80% back to normal so getting there and a lot better than it was! I’m not sure if its the nmn or not but I seem to have way more engergy today and really didn’t need my lunch time nap at all!

  • Day 73 – Rode the ebike to Trowbridge and back

    Weight = 107.1 Kgs

    Steps = 14943

    This morning I had to take my parents car to the garage for a service and MOT in Trowbridge so I put the ebike in the back and then rode back to bath to start work:

    The ride was pretty easy and I got to the office at 8:58 which was perfect timing as I had a meeting at 9 am πŸ™‚

    I then worked through until about 13:00 and then rode home and put the ebike battery on charge so that it was charged for the ride back to Trow.

    I left to go back to Trow at 15:30 and got back to bath with the car at 17:30.

    By the time I got home I was on 14226 steps but I was too busy to get on the treadmill and forgot all about getting to 15000 steps so I fell slightly short at 14943 steps! Still a good total though so I’m not too upset!

  • Day 71 – Back to walking

    Weight = 108.1 kgs

    Steps =

    So this morning I woke up with my alarm and got up and did my weigh-in and I am back up to 108.1 kgs which I used to actually get ready and go out for a walk this morning so ….

    My walk was good and I feel much better for doing it πŸ™‚ It was also light by the time I got home which is really nice too as it means that its almost summer πŸ™‚

    When I got home I opened all the doors and windows and did LΓΌften for 15-20 minutes while I did my morning tasks for work. I then got ready for work and got on the ebike and headed in to the office for the morning.

    My goal for this week is to get up and walk EVERY morning this week to get back into the habit of walking first thing again!

    I rode the ebike to the office and worked there until about 12:30 then rode home again and I was on 10800 steps which was pretty good.

    I then worked all day and its now 19:15 and I am on 11410 steps so I am just going to get on the treadmill to get to 12000 steps.

    While walking I decided that I would go to 15000 steps today instead as I was enjoying the walk on the treadmill so much πŸ™‚ I got to 15000 steps before 20:00 and I am now chilling for the night while I am call.

  • Day 63 – Cleared out the Garage

    Weight = 107.4 kgs

    Steps = 10682

    This morning I woke up when I woke up (about 7:30 am) and then got up and did my weigh-in (Down to 107.4 kgs) and then I waited around until 10 am when I woke my son up and we got to pulling everything out of the garage and putting it in the garden.

    We then reorganised the garage and then moved the bike rack from the lounge into the garage and hung up all the bikes and put everything that wasn’t going to the tip back into the garage:

    Before

    Before ^^^^

    After

    After ^^^

    As you can see the after is not perfect but its at least useable for now and I have Friday off to take all the stuff that is being thrown away to the recycling centre and then do a round 2 to get enough space to set up the gym once the bikes have been sold!

    After we have finished sorting the garage and breaking down all the empty boxes and bagging all the stuff to be taken to the tip I ordered a Pizza for my son then we got in the car and put the L plates on and he drove us to my parents house where I hoovered through the house and then mopped the bathrooms and conservatory/ kitchen before he drove us home again!

    By the time I got home about 6 pm I was really tired so didn’t push it too much so didn’t walk any more to get to 12000 steps! In hindsight it would have been better to get the last 1318 steps but there you go!
